About Me

A picture of Dr. Bannon

Licensed Clinical Psychologist in Massachusetts and New York

I am a clinical psychologist committed to developing and providing therapies that improve the well-being of individuals, couples, and families.

My approach is tailored to meet the unique needs of my clients. I include both education and skills building in my work and draw heavily from mindfulness and compassion-focused approaches, dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), family-systems therapies, and traditional cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT). Across these approaches, I strive to focus on core principles of change and building a relationship filled with empathy, trust, and mutual respect.

Dr. Bannon is currently accepting new clients for virtual therapy in Massachusetts and New York

Philosophy and Resource List

I strive to provide culturally responsive, ENM, LGBTQ+ affirming therapy that honors individual identities. I recognize that seeking therapy is a vulnerable process, and aim to make my services safe and beneficial for all people, including individuals exposed to stigma and marginalization.

I am committed to making mental health resources more accessible and have put together a running list of free and low-cost resources available via the link below. This list is still a work-in-progress, and I welcome recommendations and feedback on the materials included.
